American Airlines Puts Corporate HQ in Fort Worth, Texas, on Sales Block

American Airlines has put its corporate headquarters campus in Fort Worth, Texas, on the sales block through Transwestern Commercial Services.

The airline had moved into the property, which has 1.4 million square feet, in the late 1980s, after it relocated from New York. Its buildings, which also house the American Airlines Federal Credit Union, are at 4333, 4255, 4151 and 4101 Amon Carter Blvd. Transwestern is pitching the investment opportunity as a redevelopment play. A buyer would be able to redevelop the property into either a new headquarters facility or creative-office space.
