Focal Corporation's $15 Mln Development Project OK'd

ANAHEIM, Calif. – Focal Corporation has received approval from the Kern County (Calif.) Planning Commission for a proposed $15 million mixed-use development project on 80 acres between Los Angeles and Kern Counties.

Miracle Lake Park in Rosamond, Calif., will include a recreational vehicle park, a large 14-acre recreational lake and other facilities, along with 16 acres of commercial space.

Construction is slated to begin in the second quarter of 2000.

Financing for the development is expected to come from strategic institutional equity investors for the equity portion and construction lending institutions for the debt portion. The company is currently in negotiations with these institutional investors and lenders.
