Goldman Invests in Elevator News Service

TORONTO – Goldman Sachs Group Inc. has invested in Elevator News Network, which provides news via monitors installed in office building elevators.

Elevator News raised $6 million of financing. The amount of Goldman's investment was not disclosed. But as part of its commitment to Elevator News, its Whitehall Street Real Estate LP funds agreed to install Elevator News systems in all its U.S. office buildings. Those buildings have a total of 24 million square feet of space. In addition, Steven Feldman, a Goldman managing director, was named to Elevator News' board.
