KKR Buys San Diego-Area Industrial Park for $24.8Mln

KKR & Co. has purchased the 146,700-square-foot Haffley Industrial Park in National City, Calif., about seven miles south of San Diego, for $24.8 million, or $169.05/sf.

The private-equity giant bought the property, at 2010, 2011 and 2013 Haffley Ave. and 940 West 19th St., from Presidio Property Trust of Escondido, Calif., which was represented by HHF.

Haffley Industrial Park sits on two parcels totaling 6.1 acres near Naval Base San Diego and half-mile from the Unified Port of San Diego. The park is eight miles from San Diego International Airport and 12 miles from the Mexican border.

It's the first property transaction for Presidio since it changed its name from NetREIT Inc. in 2017. The company owns a mix of 20 office, retail and industrial properties in California, Colorado and North Dakota. It also owns 129 model-home properties through its NetREIT Dubose Model Home REIT Inc. subsidiary.
