Los Angeles-Area Retail Center Trades for $123Mln

Kimco Realty Corp. has paid $123 million, or about $157/sf, for the Whittwood Town Center in the Los Angeles suburb of Whittier, Calif.

The New Hyde Park, N.Y., REIT bought the 783,000-square-foot shopping center from a venture of DDR Corp. and Blackstone Group, which had acquired it in 2014 from American Realty Capital Properties Inc. as part of portfolio.
