CHICAGO – Goldie B. Wolfe is resigning as executive managing director of Insignia/ESG Inc. to become a developer, the Chicago Tribune reported today.

Wolfe is joining developer Millbrook Properties LLC, which is co-owned by her husband, former office supply executive Jack Miller, the newspaper said. Millbrook will target suburban development sites of 50 to 200 acres.

Wolfe joined Arthur Rubloff & Co. in 1972. One of the few female executives in an industry dominated by men, she became a top broker in the city before starting her own firm in 1989. She had sold Goldie B. Wolfe & Co. to Insignia/ESG.
