SACRAMENTO Keeping step with state-of-the-art concrete tilt-up technology, Sacramento-based Panattoni Construction, Inc. said the firm expects this week to raise some of the tallest concrete building panels west of the Mississippi.
The panels will be used for Building C, as the project is called. Building C is the third build-to-suit to be constructed in Granite Park, a 210-acre master-planned business park on Power Inn Road south of Folsom Boulevard in the city of Sacramento. Upon completion, Building C will be a 150,652 square-foot four-story office building, with concrete tilt-up panels standing more than 60 feet high and a framed clock tower reaching 85 feet.
Granite Park Building C is believed to be one of the tallest concrete tilt-up projects in the Western United States and the first of its kind in Northern California and the greater Sacramento Region. Building C is scheduled for completion by January 2000.
Granite Park is a joint venture development project of Granite Corporation, Panattoni Development and Separovich & Domich.
