D.C.-Area Office Portfolio Listed for Sale

JBG Cos. is offering for sale three properties with 1.26 million square feet of office space in the Washington, D.C., area. The properties, in Washington, Rockville, Md., and Bethesda, Md., are owned by an investment fund that is being wound down. Eastdil Secured is marketing the properties on JBG's behalf.

Commercial Real Estate Direct Staff Report

JBG Cos. is offering for sale three office properties with 1.26 million square feet of space in the Washington, D.C., area.

The Chevy Chase, Md., investment manager and developer is looking to sell either stakes in the properties or the properties in their entirety. Its aim would be to continue managing them in the event it sold only a stake.

Eastdil Secured has the listing for the properties: the 757,904-sf TechWorld Building at 800 K St. NW and 801 I St. NW in downtown Washington; a 228,020-sf office building at 1 Choke Cherry Road in Rockville, Md., and Artery Plaza, with 274,108 sf at 7200 Wisconsin Ave. in downtown Bethesda, Md.

It's likely the properties will be sold individually as opposed to as a portfolio.
