Banner Oak Capital Launches Funds to Invest in Operating Companies and Properties

Banner Oak Capital Partners, the successor to Hunt Realty Investments, has launched two funds that would provide equity to real estate operating companies and invest in properties. The Dallas investment manager's latest funds have a combined $800 million of equity and were capitalized by the Teacher Retirement System of Texas.

Banner Oak Capital Partners, the successor to Hunt Realty Investments, has launched two funds that would provide equity to real estate operating companies and invest in properties.

The two funds, Banner Oak Operating Company Fund and Banner Oak Investment Fund have a combined $800 million of equity and were capitalized by the Teacher Retirement System of Texas.

Banner Oak, which is based in Dallas, was formed two years ago by Patricia Gibson, the company's chief executive, and Geoffrey Osborn, president.
